Australian Government Libraries Information Network List (AGLIN-L)


The Australian Government Libraries Information Network (AGLIN) was formally established in May 1993, following discussions on the need for a body to co-ordinate Commonwealth Government Libraries, as the Federal Libraries Information Network (FLIN). The name changed to AGLIN in 2003 to reflect contemporary terminology and better position the Network for the future.

This list, which commenced on 1 February 2004, was till 11 May 2016 the main avenue of communication between AGLIN members. However, on 12 May 2016, AGLIN created a new members-only List for communication solely between AGLIN members. AGLIN continues to sponsor this List, but it has been repurposed as a forum for government Library and Information Technology Professionals and related industries, including vendors to:
